The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) – Research and Development Establishment (Engineers) [R&DE(E)], Pune, invites applications to fill paid internships/project work on a temporary basis for a duration of 11 months. R&DE(E) is a premier system Laboratory in the area of development of state of the art Defence Technologies and Engineering systems for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The multidisciplinary activities of R&DE(E) encompass Research, Design, Development, Testing, Qualifiction & Evaluation and Transfer of technology and production support and continuous coordination/ Engagement with DPSUs, PSU’s, Private industries and academia. Application from eligible full time under graduate/ post graduate engineering students who are pursuing in 7 th/ 8 th semester of undergraduate engineering or are pursuing 2 nd year of their post graduate engineering are invited in the prescribed format latest by 27 th May 2026 for the following disciplines for a tenure of 06 months/ 11 months paid internship/ Project work.

Eligibility: Candidates must be pursuing a full-time B.E./B.Tech degree (currently in their 7th or 8th semester) or a postgraduate engineering degree (M.Sc./M.Tech, currently in their 2nd year). They must possess qualifying marks in the relevant disciplines (Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, and other related branches).

Stipend: A monthly stipend of Rs. 8,000 will be paid to B.E./B.Tech candidates, and Rs. 9,000 to M.Sc./M.Tech candidates.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on merit and an interview.

Job Summary:

The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for engaging with prospective students and guiding them through the admission process. The role involves managing leads, providing detailed information about ASAP Kerala’s courses, and ensuring a smooth and supportive admission experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management: Attend inbound calls to the ASAP call center, particularly for inquiries related to various courses and programs. Conduct outbound calls to potential customers using provided leads and databases.
  • Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling to prospective students about course offerings, admission requirements, and career outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Admissions Support: Assist students in completing application forms, preparing necessary documentation, and understanding the admissions timeline.
  • Follow-Up Communication: Maintain regular communication with prospective students via phone, email, and other channels to nurture leads and ensure a high conversion rate.
  • Target Achievement: Meet weekly and monthly call targets and revenue targets as set by the reporting officer.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the reporting officer on call outcomes and lead quality.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Skills Required: Excellent command over English and Malayalam./Proficiency in using MS Office.

Experience and Salary

Academic Counsellor: Minimum 1 year of experience in Tele calling, customer service, or academic counseling. Salary : Rs.17500/-

Azim Premji Foundation, inviting applications for Gram Panchayat Facilitators under our Livelihoods Programme.

Location: Raigarh, Chhattisgarh; Gumla and Simdega, Jharkhand

Details of the Programme

The role entails implementing programmes and engaging with communities and Panchayat Raj Institutions for various livelihoods initiatives.

Eligibility:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in livelihood community work.
  • Graduation in any discipline with work experience in a relevant area.
  • Fluency in Hindi, local language/dialect will be an added advantage.

The Gram Panchayat Facilitator will be responsible for the team and all our livelihood work in a Gram Panchayat. A Panchayat will include a few villages. There will be a community resource person in each of these villages. The gram panchayat facilitator would:

  • Provide programmatic support to all the community resource persons within a Panchayat.
  • Act as group facilitator and trainer of various livelihood programs launched by the Foundation in the community
  • Direct engagement with the community in day-to-day operations of livelihood interventions and community mobilization.
  • Work with community and PRI to enable better access to livelihood and welfare schemes and development programs of the government
  • Institutionalize development planning, implementation, and tracking in CBOs and PRI bodies.
  • Work with local partner/community resource persons to establish community connect in the villages within the Panchayat.
  • Nurture relationship with stakeholders and trigger civic engagement between community institutions and the wider systems-block, banks, markets, etc.
  • They will work under the overall leadership of the Cluster Coordinator.
